Saudi cinema and music scene makers Telfaz11 and MDLBEAST announce a strategic partnership on the Red Sea fringe of the Jeddah Film Festival.
Telfaz11, a Saudi-origin indie powerhouse that grew out of the country’s prolific YouTube era of the 2010s and has championed films like Mandoob and Sattar, teams up with MDLBEAST, Saudi Arabia’s leading music-focused entertainment company launched in 2019. MDLBEAST is best known for its Soundstorm festival, with the next edition planned December 11–13 just outside Riyadh and featuring big-name acts such as Cardi B, Post Malone, and Calvin Harris.
The collaboration centers on music licensing and integration, aligning MDLBEAST’s extensive global music catalog with Telfaz11’s upcoming feature films and original projects.
“Our partnership broadens the creative horizon for Saudi and regional artists and composers while tapping into our expansive, diverse music library. Together, we’re amplifying cultural voices,” commented MDLBEAST COO Talal Albahiti.
The announcement was celebrated with an event at the Beyet Xenel building in Jeddah’s Al-Balad district, hosted in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Image Nation. Attendees included a young Saudi crowd and guest DJs such as Habibi Funk (Germany) and Shaolin (Saudi Arabia/ Sudanese heritage), among others.
Alaa Fadan, CEO of Telfaz11, described the partnership as a milestone for elevating Saudi storytelling in film and cinema. He added that pairing Telfaz11’s narrative strength with MDLBEAST Records would fuse cinematic storytelling with music’s cultural energy, forging emotionally resonant, authentic worlds for audiences.
The two companies say the alliance marks a significant shift toward a fully integrated film–music ecosystem that nurtures local talent and enhances IP value.
